There was a time when I put on a lot of weight which made me look like a large potato. Frankly, being heavy was not my thing, and I felt self-conscious every time I wore clothes, or went out for a date! It got worse when my date blew me off just because of my weight issues. That’s when my grandmother talked me into trying one of her favorite ancient recipes for losing weight. Half-convinced, I decided to give it a try, and the result was astonishing! I never thought the transformation could leave me in such awe and disbelief. Upon further research, I got to know that a glass of lemon water does much more than expected, much like an elixir of beauty.

One Lemon contains so many nutrients including vitamins, calcium, iron, potassium, and magnesium with immense amounts of fiber. However, do not forget to use diluted lemon juice since its acidic concentration may harm your teeth (enamel). Dilute it with water (lukewarm is the best in this case) and drink it as soon as you wake up, or within 15 minutes. Make sure you avoid taking breakfast for the next 30 to 45 minutes for it to work.
